Hallelujah! God has done it again!

Hallelujah! God has done it again!

Here we are, blessed to step into another year, and for that, we give Him all the praise. Every year around this time, many of us find ourselves brainstorming catchy themes that rhyme with the year ahead—something clever, something exciting that sparks hope and sets the tone for what's to come. And while there’s nothing wrong with that, let’s pause for a moment to reflect.

Often, the words we come up with sound great in theory but don’t necessarily align with what God has planned for us. Nor do they always help us position ourselves to receive what He’s trying to give us. If we’re honest, it’s easy to pick a theme or set goals without really considering where we are in our journey—or what might be holding us back from reaching those goals.

Take, for example, a theme like “Thrive in ’25.” Doesn’t that sound amazing? Who wouldn’t want to thrive, prosper, and make major strides in the new year? But here’s the truth: if you’re a habitual procrastinator, prone to overthinking, or stuck in fear, you might struggle to truly thrive—unless you confront and work through those obstacles first.

So, as we embrace this new year, let’s shift our approach. Instead of focusing solely on something that sounds good, let’s seek God for clarity about what’s relevant and achievable in this season of our lives. Let’s be honest with ourselves about where we are and open to surrendering to the process that God will lead us through.

It might not always be easy, but when we align our hearts with His will, the fruit of our labor will be more than worth it. This year, let’s not just declare catchy words; let’s live out His purpose with intention, faith, and trust.

Here’s to a year of true growth, alignment, and victory!
